India DGCA to CASA Licence Conversion Course / Package including RPL Mapping, Required CASA Module Gap Exams, and CASA Form 465 Submission

Country-specific foreign licence conversion pathway using RPL assessment against CASA Part 66, identified gap or full module examinations, and preparation of evidence suitable for a CASA licence application. An optional VET pathway may also be used where a qualification outcome is required.

Who is this course for?

Engineers holding a current or expired India DGCA aircraft maintenance licence and seeking conversion to a CASA Part 66 B1.1, B1.2, B1.3, B1.4 or B2 aircraft engineer licence.

Course Outcome / Certification

Upon successful completion of this course, candidates will receive:
* Initial and final RPL report for the nominated foreign licence conversion
* Part 66 module examination results for any required CASA gap or full module examinations
* CASA Form 465, which Sigma will submit to CASA

How We Train

How We Undertake Training (Individually Mapped)

Sigma reviews the candidate’s foreign licence, examination history and practical experience evidence, then produces an initial RPL mapping against CASA Part 66. Only the identified CASA module gaps or full module examinations are assigned. Where required, an optional VET pathway may be added to deliver relevant MEA units and AQF outcomes.

How We Undertake Assessment (Licence Conversion)

Assessment is based on:

  • Documentary review of licence, exam history and practical experience evidence
  • Initial RPL report and country-specific gap mapping
  • Part 66 module examinations and essay assessments where required
  • Final RPL report
  • CASA Form 465 submission by Sigma
  • Where a VET pathway is selected: assessment of the relevant MEA units of competency

  • Practical experience evidence and, where available, a practical experience logbook

I acknowledge and understand that foreign licence conversion is an individually mapped pathway and that CASA licence issue is not automatic.

I understand and agree that:

  • Sigma identifies the required CASA gap or full module examinations based on my foreign licence, exam history and evidence;
  • the final scope of training and assessment may change once my documents are reviewed in detail;
  • practical experience currency and recency requirements under the Part 66 MOS must still be met and evidenced;
  • Sigma may prepare and submit Form 465 and supporting RPL reports, but I remain responsible for submitting CASA Form 544 and any other applicant documents required by CASA; and
  • assessment outcomes and final licence issue remain subject to CASA requirements and decisions.
