Who is this course for?

Part 66 Category B1/B2 licence holders or applicants requiring the theoretical element and examination to support endorsement of the aircraft type rating stated in the course title on a Part 66 licence.

CASA Part 147 approved aircraft type theoretical training and examination to meet Part 66 requirements for issue of an aircraft type rating. The syllabus, training levels and examination are in accordance with Appendix III of the Part 66 MOS for the nominated aircraft type and licence category/subcategory.

This course is delivered by a third party not affiliated with Sigma Aerospace College. Information provided is pulled from the AC147 circular and is provided expressly to help Sigma Aerospace College students find providers for aircraft type ratings not offered by Sigma.

AC 147-02 Note 1: Type training Recognition of Prior Learning against Qantas approved training courses is approved for this organisation. AC 147-02 Note 4: This course is a differences course for B1’s that already hold another B747-400 rating or for those that have the rating with E3 exclusion.
