Delivery disclaimer

Practical on Course (POC) – Student Acknowledgement and Delivery Conditions

I acknowledge and understand that POC is a practical type training and assessment delivery option conducted at a base or maintenance facility with the resources required for the applicable aircraft type.

I understand and agree that:

  • Training and assessment are conducted around aircraft availability and operational constraints of the host facility;
  • Practical training may be delivered by demonstrations and does not necessarily involve actual servicing or repair activities;
  • Competence is determined by a Sigma Aerospace College approved assessor based on observation and required evidence;
  • Completion of POC does not, by itself, guarantee CASA type rating endorsement — additional requirements (including OJT for some applicants) may apply;
  • I must comply with all WHS and site procedures (including PPE requirements) for the duration of training; and
  • Delivery dates, locations or session sequencing may change due to safety or operational requirements.

Academic integrity applies to all assessments and records. Misconduct may result in cancellation of enrolment and reporting to relevant authorities.
