CASA Part 147 approved on-the-job training (OJT) practical programme to meet Part 66 practical training/experience requirements for an aircraft type rating. OJT is conducted and recorded in accordance with the training organisation’s approved OJT procedures/task log to demonstrate practical competence for the applicable licence category/subcategory privileges.

This course is delivered by a third party not affiliated with Sigma Aerospace College. Information provided is pulled from the AC147 circular and is provided expressly to help Sigma Aerospace College students find providers for aircraft type ratings not offered by Sigma.

Part 66 Category B1/B2 licence holders or applicants requiring practical OJT to support endorsement of the aircraft type rating stated in the course title on a Part 66 licence.

AC 147-02 Note 1: No RPL procedure described in exposition. RPL use is not approved for this organisation. AC 147-02 Note 2: These Course Codes are NOT STAND-ALONE OJT. They provide the 25% of OJT requirement when coupled with the relevant POC Code for 1st rating outcomes. The sequence of reporting dates for POC and OJT need not be concurrent. AC 147-02 Note 3: Distance learning (online) approved and in use by this organisation.
