CASA Part 147 approved differences training between aircraft/engine variants to address the differences in systems, maintenance practices and limitations relevant to the additional rating outcome. The scope and duration are based on a training needs analysis and are intended to support issue of a further Part 66 aircraft type rating (or variant), as applicable.

This course is delivered by a third party not affiliated with Sigma Aerospace College. Information provided is pulled from the AC147 circular and is provided expressly to help Sigma Aerospace College students find providers for aircraft type ratings not offered by Sigma.

AC 147-02 Note 1: No RPL procedure described in exposition. RPL use is not approved for any courses. AC 147-02 Note 2: The B1.3 courses only provide mechanical, structural, electrical and avionic Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) training outcomes; attendees need to complete an approved engine course to obtain the full B1.3 rating outcome without restrictions.
