To provide Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers with a structured practical training course on maintenance procedures for the Bombardier DHC-8-400 (PW150) aircraft.

Learning Outcomes

At the successful completion of this course, the student will have gained sufficient knowledge of theBombardier DHC-8-400 (PW150) aircraft systems to support a CASR Part 66 B1.1 and or a B2 rating application to CASA for the Bombardier DHC-8- 400 (PW150).

This course is delivered as face-to-face ‘Practical on Course’ POC at a maintenance facility in either SYD, BNE, CBR, or MEL using an operational aircraft that is readily available for the training session.

Assessment is via Practical Observation by a SIGMA AEROSPACE COLLEGE® approved POC Assessor.

Course Prerequisites

This course has the following prerequisites:

  • Hold a category of 1 and/or B2 or a certificate outcome from an approved CASR Part 147recognised Training Organisation for B1.1 and/or B2.

TUITION FEES

$5,000 +GST
Course fees are payable in full prior to the commencement of the course. All students receive a course certificate and Form 465 CASA submission following full course completion.

Training Venue

Each POC Course shall be carried out at a base or maintenance facility that has the appropriate resources necessary to carry out the program for the aircraft type. This includes an operational aircraft that is readily available for the training session(s). Current training locations for Practical training are SYD, CBR, TMW & BNE airports.
