Sigma Aerospace College’s Part 66 Licence Requalification Course is a structured, CASA-compliant pathway for LAMEs to meet the recency requirements outlined in the Part 66 Manual of Standards (MOS) and return to certification without unnecessary delay.

About the Course
The Part 66 Licence Requalification Course is designed for LAMEs who no longer meet the recency requirements defined in the CASA Part 66 Manual of Standards (MOS).
The course includes a structured, self-directed online assessment to verify current technical knowledge, followed by a detailed 2-hour interview with a senior member of the Sigma Aerospace College training team. This interview confirms practical competency and experience, ensuring compliance with MOS 66.A.23(b)(2).
Before You Apply:
This course is only suitable for individuals with a CASA Part 66 licence looking to meet the recency requirements in the Part 66 MOS.
At the successful completion of this course, you will receive a report stating that the holder has been assessed within the last 28 days, the method of assessment, and certification from SAC that the holder has continues to have the knowledge and skills necessary for the holder of an aircraft engineer licence.

Who is this course suitable for?
Holders of a CASA Part 66 licence who have not exercised the privileges of the licence for 6 months in a two year period.
